Diversity & Inclusivity Sub Committee Chair

The AMCA Diversity & Inclusivity Subcommittee (DISC)) exists under the AMCA Membership Committee and serves to ensure AMCA strives to foster an inclusive environment within the association, celebrating and promoting diversity in all aspects. Social Media Coordinator

This role will maintain AMCA’s messages and image on digital platforms. The Social Media Coordinator will play a pivotal role in executing and refining AMCA’s credibility and build communities to assist in outreach campaigns. Latin American Group Advisor

Organizes the Latin American Symposium at the annual meeting of the AMCA. The LAGA serves on the Program Committee with the primary responsibilities of reviewing abstracts and ensuring participation eligibility for participants. Read more about the position, its roles, and qualifications here.


Education Day Coordinator

The Education Day Coordinator (EDC) organizes the AMCA Education Day at the annual meeting of the AMCA. Education Day is an opportunity for AMCA members to share their knowledge and experience with the public. AMCA volunteers will share their knowledge and professional experiences with students and/or the public by conducting hands-on science experiments and activities. Read more about the position, its roles, and qualifications here.


Student Competition Symposium Coordinator

The Student Competition Symposium Coordinator (SCSC) organizes the Student Competition Symposium at the annual meeting of the AMCA. The SCSC serves on the Program Committee with the primary responsibilities of reviewing student abstracts and ensuring participation eligibility for participants.
