This position is responsible for a $4.5M budget, 64 full-time employees, and 1,778 square miles of coverage. This position reports to the Harris County Public Health interim Executive Director.

This position will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards for the District’s mosquito control operations, ensuring that treatments, field protocols, and staff performance are evaluated rigorously and effectively. The QA/QC Coordinator will play a key role in shaping operational decisions and enhancing the overall performance of MMCD programs, particularly through the evaluation of treatment materials, their efficacy, and their minimal impact on non-target species and the environment.
