Under general and/or specific directions of the District Manager, plans, coordinates and conducts specialized vector control services. This includes management of staff assigned to the laboratory, mosquito and other vector surveillance programs, molecular techniques such as PCR, use of the sterile insect technique as a means of mosquito control, scientific research and product evaluations, as well as computer and statistical services and related duties.
