The Twin Falls County Pest Abatement District (TFCPAD) located in Twin Falls, Idaho is seeking a Pest Abatement Manager to oversee and manage district activities, including execution of a pest abatement plan (focusing on Black Fly & Mosquito abatement), management of staff, budget, and cooperative activities with agencies and organizations partnered with the District.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Our focus is on Integrated Pest Management (IPM), prioritizing biologically based larvicides. To that end, the Pest Abatement District Manager oversees the pest abatement program; supervises pest abatement staff; develops and executes the District's comprehensive management plans and any specific management plans (e.g., Black Fly Abatement and Mosquito Abatement); performs administrative duties relating to policy, budgeting, and purchasing; provides public education on the implementation of the comprehensive plan through multiple media and public education venues; provides professional advice and instruction to the public regarding the control and management of mosquitoes and other declared pests occurring in the district. 

Salary range - $60,000-75,000 DOE. Medical, dental, and vision insurance available as well as PERSI retirement and paid-time-off.
