I hold a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), serve as the director of the Baix
Llobregat Council's Mosquito Control Service, and I am a researcher at IRTA-CReSA. My primary focus is on biological mosquito control and vector surveillance in Catalonia, particularly with respect to arboviruses. I have experience working in malaria entomology in Africa, and I coordinate entomological inspections in cases of arbovirosis in the province of Barcelona. I teach at the UAB's Veterinarian Faculty's Master in One Health program.
